Back in early 1968, when vinyl was the preferred musical delivery medium on the radio, I worked through the ski season in Vermont. I moved on to Ohio and the Youngstown area, followed by the Akron/Canton area, then Milwaukee; for the last 28 years I've made Detroit, Michigan my home. The Motor City had plenty of local, regional and national commercial work to keep us busy until 9/11 and the ripple effect that terrible event had on everyone's economy. From the days of being "ripped off for Peter Frampton tickets" to being one of the exclusive voices for the biggest one day automotive event in the world, the Woodward Dream Cruise, I've been proud to be treated like family by Detroit's radio listeners.

Since 1988 when WKBD-TV 50 in Detroit was owned by Cox Communications, they've relied on me for a variety of voice services from station imaging for the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Tigers to telephone directory info.

In 2004 I left my air-shift behind to concentrate on voice imaging and VOs from my digital home studio. It's been an wonderderful period in my career, filled with experimentation and personal development. I'm honored to have been awarded the 2006 Michigan Association of Broadcasters Merit Award and to have been entrusted with the tutoring of many Specs Howard students. This year I'm the voice of Audi at auto shows around the country.

My wife of 22 years and I both keep track of the business opportunities and our son and daughter. We all love movies (either on the big screen or on DVDs), cooking for friends, going to the various stage performances our theater friends are involved in, and playing pool. My pool team has terrorized the Detroit Adcraft PM Billiard league for more than a dozen years winning the championship 5 times.
